On Saturday 9th July 2016 the Bodyforce team organised a fundraising event - 'Caveman Conditioning 5th birthday party' which helped raise over £1,200 for Multiple Sclerosis.
Emma Bright, a long standing member recently lost her father, who suffered with Multiple Sclerosis for much of his life. Emma wanted to raise both awareness and money for a cause which is close to her families. With this in mind, Emma decided she wanted a challenge to help raise awareness, so she decided to take on The three Peaks challenge.
Emma explains, "MS has been a huge part of my life. My dad had it from a very young age and so always remember him being in a wheelchair. In the end it affected every part of him and took my dad away. When he could he was always laughing, making jokes and he had the attitude that their was always someone much worse off than him, so he really did appreciate everything. I want to do my bit to try and help others not suffer as much as he did. To help the MS society find a cure."
"Doing something challenging to raise money for MS has been something I have wanted to do since I lost my dad. I now feel the time is right for me."

We wanted to show our support for Emma and her family and we felt the least we could do would be to put together a social event and of course help train Emma to allow her to complete the challenge.
The day was a fantastic success with 'The Caveman Games', 'Cave Kids Games', BBQ and a raffle which was all great fun!
We would like to thank everyone who made the day a success, from people helping set up, donating raffle prizes, donating money and flipping burgers!
It really is incredible to see what the power of people pulling together can do, and what a fantastic community we have at BF!
...and we are delighted to announce that Emma successfully completed the challenge - well done Emma, your Dad would be extremely proud!
